Marta Verde Baqueiro
Visualist · Creative coder · Pontevedra, 1985
Marta builds images that behave like living matter: real-time systems fed by noise, feedback and randomness, played live like an instrument. She writes her own software and mixes it with analogue video synthesis, sensors and hacked hardware.
She created the visuals for the RTVE broadcast of Benidorm Fest, Spain's Eurovision selection, watched by over 7 million viewers. She has worked with Vessel, Anthony Rother, Aleksi Perälä, Christoph de Babalon and BFlecha, and performed or spoken at Ars Electronica, Sónar+D, Primavera Sound, MIRA, L.E.V., CaixaForum, Museo Reina Sofía and the Martin E. Segal Theater in New York. She is a Webby Awards honoree and a Max/MSP Certified Trainer.
She is one of the artists featured in Visualists: Those Who See Beyond (2019, Prime Video), the first documentary about audiovisual art, alongside Robert Henke, Daito Manabe, Zach Lieberman, Joanie Lemercier, Herman Kolgen, 1024 Architecture, Daniel Canogar, Gmunk and Matt Black of Coldcut.

José Venditti
Composer · Sound and visual artist · Born in Argentina, raised in Extremadura, based in Madrid
José Venditti is a composer and sound and visual artist based in Madrid. His work is driven by an interest in understanding the social constructions of music and confronting them: the struggle between the known and comprehensible and the unknown and abstract, and the tensions that arise between them. With sound as his main material, his practice spans live performance, composition, sound actions and live cinema.
He pays close attention to the origin and processing of his sound sources, questioning the dichotomies between organic and mechanical, analogue and digital, natural and artificial, real and fictional. He plays the saxophone, deconstructing its classical patterns and exploring new aesthetics for the instrument through digital processing and hybridisation with electronic instruments and synthesizers.
His work is largely collective. He has collaborated with Andrés Jaque, Niño de Elche, Ana Morales, Dionisio González, LA Contemporary Dance Company, Olivier Arson, Javi Cruz, MariPaula Dance Company, the Institute for Postnatural Studies and Óscar Vincentelli, among others, and co-directs the studio Coro. He has presented work at Museo Reina Sofía, La Casa Encendida, Fundación Cerezales, Teatros del Canal, Círculo de Bellas Artes, Medialab Prado, Centro Botín, Espacio Fundación Telefónica, SEMINCI, Tabakalera, the Montevideo International Sound Art Festival, Museo de la Memoria (Montevideo), Heritage Space (Hanoi), Platohedro (Medellín) and Sonic Dreams Festival (Ireland). Recent work includes Theater der Welt (Chemnitz) and the Bienal de Flamenco de Sevilla in 2026, and the score for Pablo Maqueda's documentary Dear Werner.
